The career of a fire fighter is one of the most physically demanding jobs in North America. As a Personal Trainer, I understand the importance of being in the best shape of your life. To become a fire fighter each individual must take the Candidate Physical Ability Test. The test has eight critical physical tasks that simulate actual job duties of a fire fighter. This test is physically demanding and requires that you are physically fit to be successful.

To be prepared for Fire Fighter Candidate Physical Ability Test, you should be able to meet the four major areas of fitness.
